The industry contabilized over 500 calls at the booth during the launch
Our presence at the Food Ingredients South America, the FiSA 2019 was a success. At the event we launched a new premium line of maize ingredients and pulsed proteins. The event, which is the largest in the Latin American food sector, took place in Sao Paulo on August 20th, 21st and 22nd.
In this edition Milhão brought even more innovation into the booth. Starting in a new market we have developed new solutions from other grains, such as peas, lentils and chickpeas. Called pulses these new solutions have excellent protein values and high fiber content with application in vegan products, animal protein substitution, pasta, snacks, spices and others.
Fiber Pro, rich in fiber and protein; Breaded Mix, a gluten-free breading flour that provides low oil absorption, Fibra Mix with functional appeal corn fiber; Masa Flour, a high nutritional value corn ingredient ideal for chips and snacks and Rice flour, which is an excellent source of energy, were also successfully presented at the event, generating a high interest in the audience that was welcomed by our experts. Along the three days of the event thousands of people went through the stand and more than 500 calls were made.
The new products have the quality commitment already made by Milhão, which has been operating for over 17 years with pure ingredients, free from transgenic, gluten free, allergen and antioxidant free and rich in nutritional values serving the healthy food market. is the highlight of FiSA. All of our solutions also address the world’s largest food trend, clean labeling, which highlights foods made from pure, simple and clean ingredients.
“This edition was a great success. FiSA 2019 exhaled healthiness, it was looking for innovation and we were prepared for it. The introduction of our new ingredients was very positive, especially the pulse line, because the GMO FREE ingredients from Milhão are recognized as a synonym for quality, which is in our DNA, ”says commercial director Leandro Carneiro.
We also participated in the Innovation Tour, a FiSA attraction that took a group of visitors to our booth for an exclusive presentation, given by the R&D of Milhão, of our ingredients and solutions. The event was an important networking for Milhão which was visited by large clients, as well as new prospects.
