Complete traceability of the production chain is one of the factors of our success. Milhão’s work begins with the origination of corn with rural producers. We monitor seed selection, planting, crop development, harvesting, transport, storage, in addition to quality controls and non-GMO tests at all stages. From field to table, the entire process is monitored and governed by our Milhão Ingredients Good Agricultural Practices Manual, among other ESG practices.
For SIAL Paris in 2022, Milhão Ingredients presents its portfolio rich in non gmo, vegan, cholesterol free, clean label, gluten free, plant based and low sugar options. One of the highlights will be the fibers that add several benefits to people’s health.
Corn fibers are composed by more than 60% dietary fiber and act as a texture and crunchy promoter in foods. Furthermore, it has proved to be an excellent economic replacement for insoluble fibers such as bamboo, oat and wheat fiber.
